Network Topologies
Network topology is the pattern of interconnected devices. It describe a relationship between all connected devices.
In other way-
Network topology is the arrangement of the elements of a communication Network.
There are four topologies are mostly used in LANs.
1.Bus
2.Ring
3.Star
4.Mesh
There are four topologies are mostly used in LANs.

2.Ring
3.Star
4.Mesh
1.Bus Topology- Bus topology is mostly used in all of them. In bus topology all devices are connected to a central cable , that's called backbone.
2.Ring Topology- In ring topology all devices are connected to two another devices.in this topology all device connection create a circular path. Ring topology allows data packets to travel in only one direction.

3.Star Topology- In star topology all the devices are connected to a central computer(Server).Such networks are relatively easy to install and manage.

4.Mesh Topology- In mesh topology all the devices are connected each other individually.

All systems that are in topology are called, nodes.
