Network & Topology.

                                              Network

A Network is a collection of many computers, network devices(like. switch, hub etc.) , peripherals(Input, Output devices) etc.
Which are connected one another to allow the sharing of data and communicate between all of them .

An excellent example of a network is the Internet .Which connects millions of people all over the world.

Types of computer network

There are Three major types of computer networks based on their size. That's are given below-

LAN Network Diagram Template | Lucidchart1. LAN is a group of computers which are connected with each other in a small place such as office, building, school etc.

2. LAN is very fast network for transmission because it has fixed size.
The speed of transmission in LAN is 10 to 100 mbps.

3.LAN is a secure network because there is no outside connection so nobody can't be accessed this data from outside.

MAN is the combination a lot of LAN networks. MAN network covers the larger area then LAN. In MAN various LAN are connected with each other through telephone lines.

MAN connects many buildings, offices, schools etc. with each other.

WAN is the largest network. It provides long distance transmission of data. WAN can cover a city, continent, country or even whole world.
Internet connection is an perfect example of WAN. Other example of WAN are mobile broadband connections such as 3G,4G etc.
